Healthy Towns Challenge 14_15
Five rural NSW towns are competing in the NSW Healthy Towns Challenge 2014 to win the inaugural NSW Healthy Town Award. Towns outside the Greater Sydney metropolitan area with a population of between 1,000 and 15,000 were invited to apply for five $15,000 grant awards to compete in the challenge, which runs from 1 October 2014 to 1 June 2015. The winner of the challenge will be announced in July 2015.
Following a competitive selection process, five towns across NSW were selected to participate in the Challenge. Click on the town name for more information about each of the selected town’s Healthy Town Challenge.

The challenge is a joint initiative of NSW Health and the
NSW Heart Foundation to help rural communities become healthier.
